Creamy Garlic Pasta: Rich and Flavorful

This creamy garlic pasta is a simple yet incredibly satisfying dish. The rich, creamy sauce, infused with the aromatic flavor of garlic, clings perfectly to the pasta. It’s a quick and easy meal that’s perfect for any night of the week.

 

Ingredients

  • 300 g (10 oz) spaghetti (or your favorite pasta)
  • 6–8 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Salt, to taste

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes, for a touch of heat

 

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Boil a large pot of salted water.
Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions.
Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Sauté the Garlic:

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic cloves and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.

 

Add the Cream:

Reduce heat to low.
Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in Cheese and Season:

Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Season with black pepper and salt.
Thin with reserved pasta water if needed.

Combine Pasta and Sauce:

Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.

Serve:

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs and red pepper flakes (optional).
