Creamy Garlic Pasta: Rich and Flavorful

Ingredients
- 300 g (10 oz) spaghetti (or your favorite pasta)
- 6–8 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Optional Garnishes
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- Red pepper flakes, for a touch of heat
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil a large pot of salted water.
Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions.
Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Sauté the Garlic:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic cloves and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
Add the Cream:
Reduce heat to low.
Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in Cheese and Season:
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Season with black pepper and salt.
Thin with reserved pasta water if needed.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
