These Low-Carb Cheese Buns are a quick and easy bread alternative, perfect for keto or gluten-free diets. They are primarily made from almond flour and melted cheese, giving them a soft interior and a slightly crisp, savory crust.

Low-Carb Cheese Buns

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces Cream cheese
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

 

How To Make Low-Carb Cheese Buns:

Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet: Preheat your oven to 400∘F(200∘C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Melt Cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then heat for another 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Add the eggs and the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to mix, kneading with your hands if necessary, until a uniform dough forms.
Step 5: Shape Buns: Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and shape each piece into a round bun.
Step 6: Bake: Place the buns on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
Step 7: Cool and Serve: Let the buns cool slightly before serving. They are best enjoyed warm.
