Apple Cinnamon Cake

Apple Cinnamon Cake – Moist and spiced with apple and cinnamon. Great for dessert, a cup of coffee, or a warm holiday gathering.
Ingredients
– 2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– ½ teaspoon of salt
– ½ cup of unsalted butter
– 1 cup of sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– ½ cup of milk
– 2 diced apples
– ½ cup of walnuts or pecans (optional)

Method
- Set the oven to 350°F and prepare the pan.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cream together the butter and sugar, then mix in the eggs and vanilla.
- Alternate the addition of the dry mixture and the milk.
- Stir in the apples and nuts.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Allow the dish to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use tart apples for the most delicious taste.
- Add more spices if you’re looking for extra warmth.
- Glazed or served plain, it still tastes great.
- For up to two months, it freezes exceptionally well.
