How to Make the Creamed Chipped Beef Cheese Ball
Step 1: Mix the Base
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped chipped beef, and chopped green onions. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon or hand mixer until well blended.
Step 2: Season the Mixture
Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Taste before adding extra salt, since the chipped beef is naturally salty. Adjust if needed.
Step 3: Shape the Cheese Ball
Place the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Wrap tightly and shape into a firm ball using your hands.
Step 4: Chill
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or until firm enough to hold its shape.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving plate. Sprinkle extra chopped green onions on top if desired and serve with Ritz crackers.
